NTDAMA - 482
Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT-DAMA) is an employer-sponsored visa program that falls under the Temporary Skill Shortage visa category (Subclass 482 labour agreement stream).
Labour Agreements are work agreements that allow official employers to sponsor skilled and semi-skilled overseas workers for positions they are incompetent to fill with resident employees and in response to recognized market deficiencies. These terms of the agreement between the Department and employers or manufacturing associations. Other types of labour agreements also comprise Company-specific labour agreements, Project agreements, Global Talent Scheme (GST) agreements and Industry labour agreements.
You must have:
- At least two years related work practice in your nominated occupation,
- A relevant skill assessment
- Below 50 Years of Age
- Speak vocational English (5 in each module)
Benefits for Permanent Residency Pathway:
Upon approval of the subclass 482 visa, there is a pathway to Permanent Residency (subject to satisfying the criteria and availability) through the subclass 186 scheme after a specified time of employment on the Subclass 482 visa.
