The visa you want will depend on the type of study you want to do, and how long you want to halt in New Zealand. Having a valid passport and the right visa is key to an uncomplicated entry.
If the course you want to study is for less than three months, and you hold an NZ visitor’s visa or permit, then you do not need to get a student visa or permit to study. If your course is for three months or longer to complete, you must need a student visa.
