Saskatchewan Immigration has issued 418 invites to register in two streams as part of a recent Expression of Interest draw.
Occupations In-Demand applicants with qualifications and expertise in one of 78 National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes earned 235 immigrant nominations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program draw on March 24.
Express Entry candidates with qualifications and expertise in the same NOC codes received a total of 183 invitations, all with a minimum score of 70 points.
The streams featured in this draw have specific specifications, which are mentioned later in this article.
What is the Saskatchewan Expression of Interest Procedure?

- Within 60 days, candidates must apply for a complete submission.
- Officials from the SINP review applications and make assessments.
What Are the Occupation-In-Demand Sub-Requirements? Category's
On the SINP points evaluation grid, get a minimum of 60 points;
Had a Canadian Language Benchmark ranking of at least (CLB) 4. Employers and regulatory agencies can require more.
Have completed one year of post-secondary schooling, internship, or apprenticeship in a scheme equivalent to that of Canada.
Job experience with at least one year during the last ten years:
If you work in the area of education or training, in addition
In a NOC A, B, or 0 qualifying occupations See the list of professions that aren't allowed.
If your sector needs it, obtain the required licensure in Saskatchewan, as the authority cannot process an application without it.
Have settlement funds and confirmation of settlement funds.
What are the Requirements for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub Category?
Candidates must be from outside of Canada or have legal residency in Canada to be eligible for this Saskatchewan immigrant designation, and they must not be refugees.
Candidates must also meet the following requirements:
Have an Express Entry Pool profile with a number and a job seeker validation code;
On the SINP points evaluation grid, get a minimum of 60 points;
Provide valid language test results from a recognised testing institution that fit the Express Entry profile's requirements;
Have completed one year of post-secondary schooling, internship, or apprenticeship in a scheme equivalent to that of Canada. A diploma, credential, or degree must be received.
Educational Credential Assessment is required for degrees and diplomas earned outside of Canada.
In your area of education or training, you must have at least one of the following experience requirements:
In the previous ten years, one year of work experience in a professional occupation (non-trades);
Had job experience in a NOC A, B, or 0 high-skilled, qualifying profession. See the list of professions that aren't allowed.
In Saskatchewan, whether your occupation or a professional trade is regulated, you must acquire the required licensure. A credential from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Licensing Commission is required for professional trades.
